Masonic lodges raise £1260 for MEDRF.

Recently Ballynahinch 301, Spa 703 and Eden-Na-Vadie 717 Masonic Lodges presented a cheque for £1260 to R.W Bro John Clarke, PAGM of Down and Chairman of the Margaret Elizabeth Daniel Respite Fund.

A spokesperson for the lodges said: “Our three lodges are proud to have raised so much money for such a worthwhile charity. The MEDRF assists family members of Freemasons in the Province of Down who have fallen into prolonged illness.”

“We raised the money at a barbecue held during the summer. The barbecue was held at W Bro David Smyth’s farm and was well attended by friends and family of all three lodges. We are very grateful W. Bro Smyth and to all who attended and who helped make the event such a success.”
